Student’s day at Nor-Fishing 2024

We continue to put students at the centre of attention on the last exhibition day! The organizers invite students from all study programmes to the Student Day, offering an excellent network opportunity. We invite you to start the day at the check-in session, and then move to the exhibition area to choose an activity of your interest or just to stroll among the many booths to become inspired. Here, you get to meet companies and businesses and grab the chance to discuss ideas for student projects, internships or job opportunities, or just to say hello. You can stay for a few hours or the whole day. The Student Day provides a unique opportunity to learn more about this dynamic sector, and to expand your network!

Food from the ocean gives the world perspectives for a healthier diet and a greener future. The fisheries sector is a true knowledge industry with highly advanced technologies. It is also constantly evolving, thus in need to recruit more and new types of candidates. This applies to all fields: electronics, vessel design, gear development, processing on board and on land, and production of value-added products.
