Throughout Nor-Fishing 2026, you have been able to meet people from Peru, Togo, Malaysia, Chile, Ecuador, American Samoa, Denmark, the Netherlands, India, China, and the Ivory Coast – and visitors from a total of 60 different countries.
With representatives from all over the world, there is little doubt that Nor-Fishing is the fisheries industry’s most important international meeting place. We spoke to a selection of visitors from all over the world who have attended the exhibition.
This is how the international visitors experienced the exhibition
Isidro Medizábal made the trip from Ecuador – and we spoke to him before he entered the exhibition on Tuesday:
The Scottish skipper James Duthie was also pleased. He brought his brand new – and 73 meter long – fishing vessel Sunbeam FR487 to Skansen. They had an open boat there during the exhibition.
A Danish group that focuses on ship conversion and repair, told us that they have gotten a lot of very relevant visits to their stand – and good sales conversations:
Chile’s answer to Innovation Norway – Prochile – also had a delegation at the fair. Camila Raveau was there to see the opportunities for Chilean companies in Norway:
American Ryan Weems from Kansas was captivated by both Norwegian nature – and Norwegian hospitality:
