Chilean envoy gathers inspiration at the exhibition

On behalf of ProChile, under the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs – an envoy came to gather inspiration and build networks.

Camila Raveau has taken the trip as a “scout” for the Chilean business community. The goal of the visit is to build networks and knowledge around Nor-Fishing – and prepare Chilean companies that will participate in Nor-Fishing’s sister exhibition Aqua Nor in 2027.

— Chile and Norway have many of the same challenges – and we need many of the same solutions. I am here to facilitate that Chilean companies meet the right people and have as much knowledge as possible before they come here next year.

Excellent time to look at opportunities in Norway

At the same time, Raveau sees the fisheries industry as interesting.

— The Norwegian market has come a long way – and this is an excellent time to come to Norway to look at the opportunities – for us and for others.

She praises Trondheim as a host city.

— I travel to many exhibitions and conferences, and it is special to have such a compact city as Trondheim – with proximity to technology clusters, research, universities and the sea. The city is beautiful – and the people are very open and friendly.
