Take part at Nor-Fishing Student Camp 2026

Challenge yourself, get to know Norway’s seafood industry and compete for NOK 25,000 at the Nor-Fishing Student Camp 2026.
Join us for an unforgettable few days of learning, collaboration, and fun at Nor-Fishing Student Camp 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the seafood and fisheries industry, one of Norway’s most important and innovative sectors. You’ll work closely with industry mentors, tackle real-world challenges, and build valuable connections with both companies and fellow students. Whether you already know the sector or are simply curious to learn more, this camp is a great place to explore future career opportunities.
We welcome 20 students and 5 industry mentors for an inspiring and hands-on experience at the intersection of seafood, innovation, and teamwork. Students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, the only requirement is an interest in learning more about the industry.
What’s in it for you?
- Exciting case challenge: Work in teams to solve real industry problems, guided by experienced mentors, and gain valuable hands-on experience
- Inspiring talks: Learn about personal development and get job-seeking tips
- Networking opportunities: Connect with companies and students from different universities
- Prizes: 25 000 NOK to the group with the best pitch!
Each student signs up individually, and teams will be formed at the start of the camp. In total, 20 seats are available. If we receive more applications than available spots, participants will be selected based on their motivation text. Our ambition is to create diverse and multidisciplinary teams. Both English- and Norwegian-speaking Bachelor’s and Master’s students are welcome, and we also encourage applications from students at international universities.
In addition, all students participating in the Nor-Fishing Student Camp will have access to the exhibition on all days, a dedicated room at Trondheim Spektrum for group work, and lunch.
Please make sure you are available for the full duration of the camp, starting Monday 17 August at 17:00 and finishing with the prize ceremony on Thursday 20 August at 13:30.
Costs for lunch during the camp are covered by the organisers. Students travelling from outside Trondheim are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation but may apply for a travel grant (2000 NOK) to help cover part of their travel expenses.
